Extreme Heat Funding on the Horizon

The Extreme Heat and Community Resilience Program has announced a second round of funding—a powerful opportunity made possible by Prop 4 and the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. While the opportunity is not yet open, California is currently gathering public input to help shape the program guidelines.

This program will support local, regional, and tribal efforts to address the growing threat of extreme heat, building community resilience where it’s needed most.

Now is the time to:

  • Engage in the public input process

  • Prepare your project concepts

  • Strategize for Prop 4 eligibility

At B&A, we’re tracking these developments closely to help our clients stay ahead. If your community or organization is planning heat mitigation efforts, let’s talk strategy early.
